I offer individual counselling with a specialism in relationship issues as well as other areas such as depression and anxiety. I have considerable experience in working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and with varying different issues. My priority is to offer a comfortable, safe and non-judgmental space for all where it is possible to begin to explore the issues that are concerning.
My training and approach is integrative, which means I can draw on different theoretical perspectives in responding to each persons specific therapeutic needs. I work relationally and collaboratively with individuals to facilitate a process of personal growth, where it is possible to gain a greater understanding about self and the difficulties being experienced. In the alliance, it is possible to gather more resources, enhance self-awareness and gain a different perspective on a current situation. With greater clarity, there is the option of making choices that may be more aligned with your own needs and desired life path. Counselling can also help us move toward coming to terms with and accepting the things that cannot be changed.
